These include, but are not limited to, numerical simulations in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Energy and particle transport<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Multi-physics modelling<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Plasma turbulence and related transport processes<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Plasma hydrodynamics including linear, nonlinear and\/or extended MHD<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Plasma instabilities<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Edge and plasma-material interactions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Heating, fueling and current drive<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Laser-plasma interactions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fast particle physics and burning plasma issues<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Scenario development and control<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fusion reactor materials<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fusion reactor technology<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The workshop is organized under the auspices of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.res.es\/en\/about\" target=\"_blank\">Spanish Supercomputing Network (RES)<\/a>. The language of the workshop will be in English and it will be open to all<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme will include of three plenary talks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alberto Loarte (ITER Organization) Modelling needs to support the ITER Research Plan and role of HPC<br>Susana Clement (F4E) Role of HPC in Broader Approach Activities in Fusion<br>Xavier Litaudon (EUROfusion) EUROfusion E-TASC Programme and HPC role within it<br>There will also be <a href=\"https:\/\/hpcfusion.bsc.es\/2020\/author\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">invited and contributed orals<\/a>.
