These include, but are not limited to, numerical simulations for Fusion physics, technology and materials in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Energy and particle transport   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multi-physics and Multi-scale analyses and modelling   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turbulence and related transport processes   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hydrodynamics, including linear, nonlinear and\/or extended MHD   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plasma instabilities   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edge and plasma-material interactions   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heating, fueling and current drive   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laser-plasma interactions   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fast particle physics and burning plasma issues   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scenario development and control   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Materials under irradiation   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nuclear fuel cycle systems analysis (Tritium modelling)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deterministic, Monte Carlo and hybrid methods developments   <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>System Analyses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop&#8217;s language will be in English, and it will be open to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be keynote, invited and contributed presentations. The<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/hpcfusion.bsc.es\/abstract\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">abstract submission<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hpcfusion.bsc.es\/abstract\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <\/a>opens on<strong> June 10, 2024<\/strong>, and closes on <strong>September 15, 2024 at 1pm&nbsp;CEST.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants at the Fusion HPC Workshop will gain a broad understanding of the status of fusion HPC research internationally by attending presentations by leading researchers on a broad range of topics. Question and answer sessions will follow presentations with the option to either write or use the microphone to ask questions.
